Meet Bo: The Newest Member Of New Purveyors

When I interviewed Bo, the new member of New Purveyors, I learned a lot about who he is and what brought him to the team. He shared his journey, his goals, and even some advice for people thinking about buying or selling a home.
We started talking about what got him into real estate. For Bo, it all started with his passion for homes and renovations. He’s always liked the idea of taking something and transforming it, so becoming an agent felt like a natural step. Before he started in real estate, he was working at Rogers, but he knew deep down that homes were what he really wanted to focus on.
One thing Bo loves the most about working in Ottawa’s real estate market right now is meeting new people, especially the ones that are coming to the city for the first time. He said there’s something special about showing them the beauty of Ottawa and helping them feel at home here.
When I asked why he decided to join New Purveyors specifically, he explained it was because he liked the opportunity it presented. Bo also appreciated the warm, friendly community that Matt has built on the team. He is excited for the support he’ll receive, and for all the learning that comes with joining a team.
However, Bo’s ultimate goal is to build a home. Within the next five years he’s planning to build a home and get more into the construction side of things. He also shared that he wants to focus more on improving his skills, especially from a social media angle, and he’s looking forward to meeting new clients. One piece of advice he has for anyone buying or selling right now was simple: listen to your realtor, because there’s no one-size-fits all when it comes to real estate.
Overall, interviewing Bo helped me understand why he chose real estate and what he’s hoping to accomplish at New Purveyors. It gave me a better idea of what it’s like starting out in this field, and I’m looking forward to seeing how he grows on the team.
